They've also distilled the results from various sponsored content tests they've run into the infographic below. Among their findings about successful advertisements on LinkedIn:

  • Posts containing a statistic achieved a 37% higher clickthrough rate
  • Shorter updates saw higher engagement rates
  • The words "research" and "guide" performed better than "ebook"
